Our work

Overview

We know many of our beneficiaries have or are experiencing adversity/trauma in their lives, most recently with the covid pandemic and cost of living crisis. We wanted to create an environment where parents, professionals and children can pursue their interests, take risks in trying new things and focus on what matters to them, as part of a strength based approach, uncontrained by excessive performativity but rigorously researched, so that we improve continuously in our approach.

The majority of our work has been focused on building on strengths in our communities and working on some of the challenges we face together. We use specialised skills and techniques to co-create support for young people and their families, which are embedded throughout our service portfolio. We help people develop resilience building on existing cultural, social and intellectual capital.

Our work is split across five themes: our covid response, improving access and participation, the cost of living crisis, health and wellbeing, and lifelong learning.
