Charitable Giving
As we work with our communities we identify needs and work with our beneficiaries to fulfil them. Our charitable giving provision helps people maintain their dignity, provide for their families and try new experiences as a means of finding latent talents and interests.
In 2019-20 we provided our communities with over £11,000 of items. That was in addition to the thousands of pounds of food we have distributed. In 2020-21 we distributed £50,000 of stationary, clothing, hygiene products and household items.
In Autumn 2021 we focused on distributing wellness packs to help our beneficiaries de-stress, feel good about themselves and find productive outlets for their time. These packs include craft items, stationary and cosmetics. We also distribute Christmas trees and craft materials to make celebration (Christmas/Eid) cards. In Spring 2022 we are focusing our resources on food provision to support people during the cost of living crisis.
