Emergency Food Provision

Our food provision

Food has become expensive. Above inflation increases in food prices over the last decade have further strained the finances of low income families resulting in poor nutrition in many of the households we serve. We  distribute emergency food, in a carbon neutral way, to families experiencing financial hardship. We do this in partnership with our local community. We do our best to tailor the food provision to our users. Most of the food we supply is fresh with a long date and we also use some end of life food that is good to eat. We work with our beneficiaries to distribute this food, encouraging grass roots volunteering, which creates cost efficiencies. We also offer support to reduce the need for emergency food. Read about our pilot food provision here
